4. Sermon date

Some of you might be saying ‘There is no sermon date”. You’re correct, your sermon date is assigned by the post date. If you’re uploading sermons from an old website simply edit the post date to assign the correct date. Why did you do it this way? Simple, this is a great way to make sure all search engines pull the correct date the sermon was preached on. If we created a custom meta field, Google would’nt be able to recognize this and would show the incorrect sermon date.

This box will dynamically populate all the speakers , simply select the speaker you wish to assign to that sermon.

Manage Sermons #

1. Manage & edit sermons

From the WordPress dashboard hover over ‘Sermons’ and click ‘All Sermons’. From this page you can edit, filter, and delete your sermons. You can also use the ‘Quick Edit’ feature to change the sermon speaker, topic, and series directly on this page. If you have the pro version of Advanced Sermons (make sure duplicate post is enabled in settings) you will also see an option called ‘Duplicate’. This allows you to duplicate existing sermons to quickly create sermons in the same series or with similar content.
