Scripture: Matthew 5:13-16

As followers of Christ, we are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world—bringing flavor, preservation, and illumination to a world in need. Salt enhances and preserves, while light dispels darkness and reveals truth. Our lives, through words and actions, should reflect Christ’s love and truth, inspiring others to glorify God.

Scripture Reading: Matthew 5:13-16
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

This passage challenges us to live boldly and authentically for Christ, using our unique gifts and opportunities to make a difference. Being salt and light is a daily choice to influence the world with His grace and truth, shining His glory into every corner of life.
